Our popular weekly Thursday evening classes have a fresh new look, are suitable for all abilities, and are the best way to learn this fun and versatile dance style!
The classes are designed to progress your dancing whatever your level, with a relaxed but thorough approach, ensuring you develop a good range of moves all delivered with safe and gentle technique. Across the evening, the music will be a wide mix of familiar tunes with a range of tempos, so no matter what your tastes there’ll be something to keep your feet moving!
Held at The Arena Sports Centre, Westloats Lane, Bognor Regis, our classes take place in the purposely designed Dance Studio with its well maintained dancefloor and temperature controlled air conditioning system.
There’s a large, free, on-site carpark so no need to walk a long distance in the dark, and a comfortable seating area if you arrive a few minutes early. Cold drinks are provided and hot drinks can be purchased from reception.
With simple footwork, even those with two-left-feet can master Modern Jive!
New starters are welcome any week. There’s no need to pre-book, just turn up and pay on the door.
And no partner? No problem! Bring a friend or come on your own, either way a friendly welcome awaits!
Your Evening Format (Times may be subject to change on the night)
7.45pm: Doors Open / Warm-up Freestyle
8pm: Beginners / Warm-up Class
8.30pm: Freestyle (plus Beginners Summary Class)
8.50pm: Intermediate Class
9.15pm: Freestyle and Social Time
10.15pm: Doors Close

Book and pay for 5 lessons on your first night and pay only £25. That’s a fantastic saving of £15! All 5 sessions must be used within 8 weeks of payment. Offer applies to Thursday Class Nights. Only available for those new to Modern Jive. Participation in both the Beginners Class and Beginners Summary Class each visit is expected.

Themed Weeks
At ‘Dance with Stacey’, we like to bring even more fun and laughter to our class nights, so we have occasional themed nights! We’ve had a Red, White and Blue week, White Night, Hawaiian Night, and even a ‘Back 2 Skool’ night! Dressing up is always optional, but is great fun to do, as the photos below show!
