Never Danced Before?
Everyone starts somewhere, and we’d love to help you take your first steps!
You don’t need any experience, a partner or special shoes. Modern Jive is a fun, sociable dance that’s easier to learn than you might think, with no complicated footwork to worry about. We’ll guide you through everything from the very beginning, at your own pace.

With 20 years of Modern Jive experience and almost 19 years of teaching, my love and enthusiasm for dancing continue to grow!
After qualifying as a Leroc teacher in 2016 while co-owning JivePlay, I went on to establish Dance with Stacey (formerly StaceyModernJive) in 2017.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside a wonderful team of volunteers who share my passion for great teaching, friendly dancing and making everyone feel welcome.
Freestyles & Social Events
Join us for our freestyles and social afternoons across Worthing, Eastergate and Chichester! Enjoy great music, plenty of dancing and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect opportunity to put your moves into practice, catch up with friends and simply enjoy being on the dancefloor!
Workshops and Wider Learning Opportunities
Take your dancing to the next level with our workshops, monthly Fundamentals sessions and focused learning groups! Explore everything from technique and connection to movement and musicality, with plenty of opportunities to learn, practise and grow in confidence on the dancefloor.
