Looking for something to do during the day? Want an opportunity to get out, dance and socialise with friends but have nowhere to go? Don’t fancy being out in the dark evenings, but still want to keep active? We have just the thing for you!
In the lovely Molson Hall of Goring Conservative Club, we are delighted to bring you ‘Jive-by-Day’, your weekly opportunity to dance and socialise during daylight hours!
Our main focus being on providing a relaxed, friendly and welcoming environment, there’s no pressure to be the best dancer! Its about about being together and enjoying a dance-filled afternoon with friends!
With its lovely dancefloor, spacious seating area, ample off road parking, (and on the 700 bus route), and with tea / coffee and cake provided, Goring Conservative Club is an ideal place to learn and dance.
No course to book, and no partner needed (although obviously very welcome if you have one!), just turn up and give it a go! All ages and abilities welcome!
And at only £5pp, if you have a friend that doesn’t dance, bring them along to enjoy some music and a cuppa anyway. At ‘Dance with Stacey’, no one is left out!
Tuesday Format:
1.30pm – Doors Open
1.45pm – Modern Jive Class*
2.30pm – Time for Tea / Coffee and Cake, and of course – Dancing!
3.30pm – Coats and Carriages as Doors Close
*Your class will usually be a Beginner / Improver level Modern Jive Class consisting of 3-4 moves danced in a routine. However, depending on who’s there, we’ll sometimes mix it up to include something a little different! The possibilities are endless and will be guided by You!
