The Team (Dance with Stacey, in partnership with Jiveasy, Diamond Dance, The Wiggle Room, JivePlay and Findon Sundays), is delighted to announce its next fantastic annual 2-room event at the beautiful Worthing Assembly Halls on Saturday 20th January 2023, from 7.45pm – midnight!

Dancers from the Modern Jive community will once again be able to come together under the same roof with several operators, teachers, and special guests from across the Country, to enjoy a brilliant evening of dancing and socialising.

Dance with Stacey is proud to run these events together with other operators. The Assembly Halls is a building that was purpose built for large community events, and with a strong community ethos, and for the last 6 years we have reflected this ethos by inviting other operators to join together and work in partnership for these magnificent events. By doing this the whole dance community really can come together as one.

We continue to be very proud of this approach, and are very grateful to all those who agree to join together to provide such amazing and memorable evenings. Thank you!

Venue

The Assembly Hall in Worthing provides a top-quality dancing facility with a comfortable capacity for up to 250 dancers. It hosts a stunning large sprung wooden dancefloor surrounded with ample seating, a social bar area with both alcoholic and soft drinks for sale, and a smaller second room ideal for more expressive dancing.

There are various ground level and multi-story car parks within a few minutes walk of the venue. There is also plenty of roadside parking, including on single yellow lines after 6pm. Please park sensibly and do not block local residents driveways etc. Car sharing also makes for easier parking for everyone!

Music

The Team work hard to bring you a good range of music to ensure there is something for everyone!

In the Main Hall, we have Modern Jive for the whole evening, with the whole range of your favourite tracks.

In the Richmond Room, we concentrate on those who prefer something a little smoother, and more expressive, so we play a selection of music suitable for Smooth Jive, West Coast Swing and Blues

This format has worked for many years and continues to be the best to make for a brilliant night!

Tickets

Tickets will be available shortly from the following operators: Jiveasy (Tuesdays in Titchfield & Wednesdays in Fishbourne), Diamond Dance (Wednesdays in Shoreham), Just Jive with Stacey (Thursdays in Bognor Regis), JivePlay (Monthly in Worthing), The Wiggle Rooms (Monthly in Steyning), and Findon Sundays (Fortnightly on Sundays in Findon Village).

Unable to get to a venue listed above? No Problem. Please contact Stacey on 07861 464738 for details to pay by bank transfer and your ticket will be held on the door for you to collect on arrival.

Tickets are:

£15pp up to midnight on the 31st December 2023

£18pp from the 1st January 2024

Please note, due to the high costs to run these events, all tickets for Assembly Hall events are non-refundable. This has been the case for the last 6 events we have run. If you resell your ticket, you must notify Stacey in advance for your ticket to remain valid on the door. Tickets can only be resold to the role purchased, i.e a ‘Lead’ ticket can only be resold as a ‘Lead’ ticket.

Please do not purchase a ticket from an unknown source via Facebook etc. Many of these are scams and you may well end up loosing money. If someone offers to sell you a ticket, protect yourself and contact Stacey to check it is a legitimate ticket before paying.

Charity Fundraising! 

Dance with Stacey is proud to support smaller local charities, whose excellent work is often overlooked, and so we ensure we include a charity element in all of our big events to enable us to give something back to those who may be unable to participate themselves. The charities are also invited to attend our events so they can promote the good work they do.

In the past we are privileged to have supported Erins Dream to Dance, Worthing Soup Kitchen and Superstar Arts!

For this years event we’ll be donating £2 from each ticket purchased to Andy’s Angels. This is a fabulous Worthing based Charity whose purpose is to provide a Grief Play Cafe, which is a safe space for children and families to go to as they navigate their way through their own grief journey. So far, by putting aside a small amount from each ticket purchased, ‘Dance with Stacey’ events have raised a fantastic £4922.91 for local charities! Thank you to everyone that has made this possible.
